I'll take Manning. Tom Brady goes down for the year, the Pats still win 10 games. Manning goes down, Indy gets the first pick in the draft. (Hopefully Staff can work on catching Peyton in playoff losses this year, has a little ground to gain)

May as well take Andrew Luck using this criteria.

Nah.... I'll stick with Manning.

Irsay intentionally tanked the entire 2011 season trotting Curtis Painter out there all year long, then cleaned house from top to bottom. They weren't trying to win.

Only the facts: Manning will get you into the playoffs every year, and out of them faster than any other QB in NFL history. Brady will get you in every year, and get you more wins than anyone ever, even more than Joe Montana.

I'll have to go with Smitty on this one, because he's considering the surroundings of the QBs. If Belichek got his hands on Peyton, might as well make some money betting Pats futures, because they'd be winning it.

Peyton has had better offensive firepower throughout his career and doesn't have any better stats to show for it.

Ohhhh JDM.... Stop covering for Tommy and just be happy you have Timothy Tebow. (I was sorry for you when I heard.). Randy Moss and Corey Dillon were kinda good. That Gronk fella was decent for awhile too.

Maybe Both QBs are both great and made decent players look better then they are. If you put Calvin Johnson on the Bills he wouldn't be making any Madden Covers.

Brady had moss for 2 years, and had one of the best seasons ever by a QB in one of them. Peyton had Wayne and Harrison, both of whom can make legitimate cases for the hall of fame, for most of his career.

The point wasn't even to make the case who is better. But when considering their situations, you have to consider all of it. Brady may have had somewhat better defenses, but Peyton has had more weapons. The per game stats are nearly identical; the records are at the opposite extremes. I'll take mine and be pumped about it.

Maybe one of them has more one-and-done playoff exits (8) than any QB in NFL history, while the other one has more playoff wins than any QB in NFL history (17).

It doesn't get any more apples to oranges than that.

If you're hell bent on me taking Brady.... Fine, I will. But I'm gonna cut him and roll with his backup. We'll still win 10, obviously. Plus save a little coin. I get your defense and special teams though, right?

I can't say one is better then the other because stats are semantics. If Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson can win a superbowl then Heck they both have rings so they must be as good as Manning right?

Manning and Brady are both great QBs and my allegiance to Michigan Football will not allow me to pick Manning over Brady, but at the same time He's every bit as good as Brady.

I didn't mention the 3 SB's to 1 for this reason. But the all-time playoff winner vs. the all-time playoff choker and they are somehow equal? You can only ignore stats for so long before you start ignoring history.

What's a duck fan doing here? Not much going on out west?

Mamba is my boy plus he hates Shocktart too. So you two have that in common.
