Just by guessing with their personnel, Chiefs seem like a team that plays with the lead really well (running the football on offense and rushing the passer on defense) but isnt very good at playing from behind (stopping the run on offense and passing the ball on offense).

Chiefs have been overachieving on offense probably due to their coach. Smith, Kelce and Charles sounds great if there is a great offensive line but with a mediocre one then they probably need some receivers in the mix.

No team gains more from Peyton being old than the Chiefs. They just have a roster that could go either direction and a fairly small window.

Yeah I could see KC take that division, although I don't think Alex Smith is a qb who gets you to and wins the superbowl.

I don't know what to make of Alex, personally. He hasn't completed folded with mostly chickenshit around him at WR and O-line, so I am tempted to give a pass, but I doubt he stays in KC beyond 2017 if he doesn't win a SB. Dorsey was the head of college scouting when they drafted Rodgers, so I don't think he'll be reluctant to pull a trigger on a QB if he likes one enough.

I think Brady is benched by the bye week after the Pats' one-dimensional offense with him under center is exposed and an effective QB takes them to the promised land. BB and that defense are too good.

Not much parity in the past couple of years actually. Cowboys were the only surprise team even in the playoffs last year.

I think the Ravens have the best shot in the AFC possibly but it's way early to make any real sense of next year. Every team has to start over basically and it can be challenging to keep pieces together even for the good teams.
