Philly, we have a problem.

We’re about a week and a half into Eagles training camp now and the noise surrounding quarterback Jalen Hurts has grown louder by the day.

What, I'm trying to figure out is why this Eagles camp info wasn't already posted, being we've been updated on them all off season.

IMO, Minshew is the better QB. There is a reason the kept him on the roster as assurance in case Hurts struggles.

2 drives, 2 touchdowns. Against the top defense in the preseason so far.

The reason the kept him on the roster? Eagles have one of the best backups in the league. Why would they have released him otherwise?

Yeah, I think is the better option over Hurts. I don't think the Eagles are entirely sold on Hurts which is why they kept Minshew.

Minshew has looked pretty bad in camp. Tonight we was replaced for a bit in the second team offense by Reid Sinnett.

Guy just cannot throw the football for shit. Even that TD he just threw it up for grabs (what was the safety doing?). But, he sure can run. He'll never be a good QB, but if he runs enough you can have a lot of success

some of his dump off passes were in the ground. I had to look again to see if someone was posting that to prove to RTK that Hurts sucked as a passer. But nope! It was good ol' RTK thinking that this was showing him as impressive somehow.

RTK and most likely many more hang their hats with Hurts running TD's & 1st downs.

Look for a ton of single back two tight, maybe three on occasions. That's the best you got to protect a desperate need of running QB for success.

Eagles will be running primarily out of a single back, one tight end and 3 WR formations.

I cant believe people still talk about training camp "struggles".

I remember I didnt draft Prescott one year because he had elbow or shoulder injuries and was shut down in training camp. He went out and lapped whatever POS QB I drafted that year.

If Rodgers is finally getting old there is new that Jordan Love is having a fantastic camp and has improved greatly over the last 2 years now going into year 3

So no worries in GB

The comment was he is now playing like a 1st round draft pick

It will be interesting if this growth continues starting Friday out in San Fran

I was talking about how training camp reports are bullshit.

I fully expect the reports of Love to be equally bullshit. Packers have MAJOR incentive to "talk him up" this year because next year is the offseason that they are going to be forced to trade him and try and recoup as much as they can for him.

In fact if asked about Love, I would have told you 2 months ago that the reports out of training camp are going to be crazy good on him. Doesnt actually matter how he looks. They just need other teams around the league to think he is still work a draft pick.

Listening to NFL training camp reports are about as worthwhile as listening to NBA trade rumors 2 months before the trade deadline. 99.5% of the time they are just a writer turning in a story that might get clicks.

Yeah, those examples you brought up are quite different than a guy who has yet to be able to prove he can throw the ball in this league, has a career completion % of 59% (think about how bad that one is) and had a 19-9 TD to int ratio still struggling badly in camp. Perhaps you missed his highlight reel a couple posts later in which he still looked like crap. In a highlight reel! I think you should grab him as your #1 QB :thumb:
