The ESPN coverage was disgusting.
The ESPN coverage was disgusting.
Will it be that teams don't want to deal with the drama or that he just did not have enough talent?
I'm scarred for life. I cannot believe what they made me see. What happened to the delay they are supposed to have? Oh that's right, knowing he is gay wasn't enough for them, they had to force viewers to watch grown men eat cake out of each other's mouth.
I was really hoping he wasn't going to be drafted in our division.
If I'm not mistaken he was projected as a third rounder before he came out.
Lol.I didn't know he was gay gay.
I thought he was fifth and slipping and that was before the combine, individual workouts, and before teams had fully evaluated prospects?![]()
Lol.
In people's defense, it's not something you see often on TV or in public. Even this day and age.
Considering the typical demographic that watches the NFL draft on ESPN, I would question why ESPN felt it necessary to display that. Because I'm pretty sure it was tape delay.
OTOH, it's pretty groundbreaking and ESPN is a publicity whore.
ESPN did it for business/money purposes. You know the saying, "If it bleeds, it leads."
Here's a bigger question: What if the first openly lesbian WNBA player make out with her girlfriend and shared cake, how many of us would call it "gross?"
Since most of them look like men, I'd say most. I know what you're trying get at but it's not the same thing to most guys. Hypocrite or not, that's how it is.
Well, I just think people shouldn't be shocked that gay people like to make out with each other, and sharing cake isn't really that gross. It could have been worse.
