I remember in the 60's, the debate over "pay TV"
"just think of all the extra entertainment you'll be able to watch"
The world was a better place without all the mindless options.....

yeah but there were only 3 channels and no remote lol. I remember back in 70 or so, me and my brother find Ch 56 with the big antenna on house, up there for hrs trying to get the signal and watching cartoons and creature double feature on 38

Stay in the touristy areas in the city or out east and you will be fine. Lot of good food, music in Memphis, but doubtful I'll ever live there again and I have a paid off home my dad left me.

Outer Banks? Or is that the military town? I know I've been there years ago.

Military town. Ft Bragg and Pope AFB.

You didn't have a little sister to make hold the rabbit ears so the channel would come in?

One of my very best friends (USAF Retired) lives a few minutes from you in Sanford. I've been down to his place a dozen times and I like the area............................unless it's July or August.

I was the little sister I was 5 my brother were 8 and 12 and beat the snot out of me. Sometimes I would be up on the roof during a thunderstorm, holding the antenna in right position so that they could enjoy their shows. FYI metal and lightening do not go well together

IDK, last time I used Amazon or Hula they wanted $ per movie. Has that changed?

I used to have a Amazon Prime Membership. They have a catalog of movies that you can watch for no additional charge like Netflix. If you go online, it will show no charge for Prime Members. I think I paid $79.99 for one year of membership. Movies that are not part of prime membership, you can watch for a fee.

I listen to Pandora at work mostly when I tire of the classic rock radio station...I started archiving my CD collection via itunes and I'm up to about 2500 songs thus far (Ipod synced about 1500)...I went to Memphis over the weekend...on random play...no song played twice, and zero commercials...nice.
Nice. I need to clean up my iPod. I added too many full albums where I don't like the majority of the songs so I can't simply do shuffle but I still make playlists once every month or two so it doesn't get too monotonous.

Yep...it's easier to rip the whole album, but on my older CDs I know the songs I want to keep on the ipod...it'd kind of tedious to go thru and uncheck the ones you don't want to sync, but it saves space on the ipod...when I go random in songs mode...I rarely have to hit skip.
