Depth. I'd take our first 35 or so players against anyone in the country and like our chances. After that, it starts to get sketchy. Too many injuries at any spot could cause big issues.

New coaching regime ( I have all the confidence in Coach Strong, especially when he was asked recently in an interview to predict his team's record and he declined to do it, but then answered, "This team will be tough to beat and if by chance this team gets beat, our opponent is going to be sore for weeks and will have earned that win". With that being said, we still don't know how this team will perform, so the new coaching regime is somewhat of a concern for me.

2. QB (Ash is one hit away from ending his career completely). After that, we have a true freshman, Jerrod Heard, who is going to be a stud, IMO and redshirt sophomore Tyrone Swoopes, whom I have zero confidence in.

3. O-line - young and inexperienced, plus, this has been the softest and weakest position since 2008. We'll see if Wickline has turned these boys into tough guys.....

I'm not worried about anything, but that's just my attitude from being an athlete(currently an ex-athlete). Just compete and I expect Strong's Longhorns to do that.

The whole "do your best" is just rhetoric. If you're unwilling to "do your best", you shouldn't be competing.

Due to how they never live up to expectations - No. I'm not worried.
2011- Preseason Top 10. Finish 7-6.
2012 - unranked "Supposed to suck" Finish 11-2
2013 - Preseason Top 10. Finish 9-4
2014 - Supposed to suck...

I think they will finish better than everyone expected.

After today and watching the Badgers scrimmage, I'm relieved of most of the concerns I had. The only major one lingering is the defensive line size and depth holding up against big o-line that UW will see vs LSU/Iowa/MN/Nebraska.

QB - We have a redshirt freshman QB with no gametime experience starting.

RB - Stanback excelled at times last year and struggled at others. I've yet to see him prove he can be a true #1 RB.

Oline - Youth and depth considered. We lost 3 oline starters the nfl last year

What are your expectations for USC this year?

Assuming we stay healthy, I think 10 wins is doable and that could get us in the 12PAC CCG if 2 of the wins are ASU and UCLA.

Our toughest games should be @Stanford, ASU, @UCLA and Notre Dame. I think we split those 4.
