Winn and Vanasco pitch tonight. Maybe tonight is when they both get things turned around.

Looking forward to Winn going 7 innings giving up something like 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8, while giving up 2 runs max. With Vanasco I will take 6 innings 5 hits and 2 walks and 2 runs.

He sure gave no indication of Bubba or Josh Smith coming up Seems to me he has a lot of irons in the fire and relies on others info as opposed to what he used to get first hand

personally i expect both Bubba and Smith to be on the roster sometime after the trade deadline and next season. i could see Wendzel on the roster after the trade deadline depending on who we trade or don't trade

Part of me thinks we need to see Bubba play at MLB level this year or just don’t add and see if he slips though again for Rule 5 or do a trade all depending on how it works out for Smith and Leody

Tough call as if we roster and he fails then if we waive him it is easier for teams to pick him up

if we don't add Bubba and even if no one picks him up then he's of no use to the organization and he will be released. if we add him during this season, bring him up and he doesn't work out then we DFA him and then the same path is there

i don't know. if i base it on 2019 stats. yes. if i try to base it between now and the last time he pitched it would be impossible to say

Looks like he will be back soon. I am anxious to see how he does. I think he is eligible to come off the DL in about two weeks.

2 innings in 2020 so he really hasn't pitched since the end of 2019. i think it gets some innings this season, how many depends. but coming off TJS it will take him time to get back to "normal". i would think the Rangers may pass on his 2023 $6M club option & the 2024 $6.5M too

Which is why it is important to see what he can do. He had great movement on his pitches early in his career but sure the command will be a factor post surgery
