Jung and Winn move down. No one else makes the list.
There is concern over Winns walks

all are goig to be eligible for the next rule 5 draft and i may have missed one or 2. not all will be or can be covered and most probably will not be scooped up by other teams but it will be necessary to protect at least the first 11 or 12 on this list if we don't want to lose them

Going to have to be some decent churn in the current roster.
Maybe a trade or 2 coming as well?

Not sure about Hauver. Seems like he got an extra year if eligibility. Still pretty big list. Doubt if Acosta is protected

I think Winn's problems are temporary and Jung is no big deal since he is hurt

well i can name 7 spots that will or could be empty at season's end: Perez, Moore, Culberson & Bush are on 1-year deals, so they become FA's and Richards, Kole and Leclerc are club options for 2023. so who else goes

Taveras cooled down a bit this week, going 3-for-22 in five games, including a double, three walks and four strikeouts. His season line is now .308/.346/.517 (.863 OPS) with five home runs, nine walks and 35 strikeouts. If you’re wondering what it’s going to take for Taveras to crack the big leagues, that last sentence might be the key: nine walks in 34 games (143 at-bats) isn’t quite up to snuff, not with 35 strikeouts in 143 at-bats (24.4 percent).

maybe it's time to try Bubba Thompson or Josh H Smith in our outfield. neither is killing AAA but they should be given the chance. it would mean clearing a 40-man spot or 2

I think Taveras and Bubba both, are destined to be 4th outfielders. That is nothing to be ashamed of.

White is in this mix as well. All good baserunners and good defensively

Thinking next year only one is one the active roster maybe one in MILB or maybe a younger guy we have to roster like Crim and Smith who’s might be a starter anyways.

Really don’t see a clear path for the team to improve prior to the ASB offensively. Guess that is ok for now

If you had to choose one of Garcia, Thompson, or Taveras, who would be your fourth outfielder. Keeping one and trading the other two.

why so quick to write them off? not every outfielder can or will be a Mike Trout, but they can be a effective outfield just the same. your choice may be our starting outfield next season so until i've seen them a bit more none of them

Wut?

I would for sure want Adolis but hopefully to start. If you meant White Leody or Bubba. Thinking I might lean towards Bubba for defense and base stealing. Probably more upside too Bubba does not know how to take a walk and swings too much. White has had his shot

Neither of them have earned the right to start though. Maybe Evan Carter will progress rapidly
Unfortunately we need a great starting CF who is great defensively to cover LF if we bring up a guy who mainly bats well

I think the conversation was discussing hypotheticals about an OF set up so that neither Garcia, Taveras, or Thompson would be starters, and of those, which would be the best option for a 4th OF.
