No More "Bullpen Failure"
Three more hits for Josh Smith today, and a walk and a stolen base. He is pushing to be brought up.

Wondering what position he playedThree more hits for Josh Smith today, and a walk and a stolen base. He is pushing to be brought up.
Smith and who?Wondering what position he played
At some point bring them both up and whoever sticks sticks
Guessing Leody. Not sure any other position players come up except Bubba.Smith and who?
think we have to roster Smith too. and at least 7-9 others on our top 30 prospects listGuessing Leody. Not sure any other position players come up except Bubba.
We have to roster Bubba to keep him unless we trade him for a team that needs defense and speed
Leody has backed up so I wouldn't bring him up. Smith is very close to being ready, if not already ready. Bubba is probably just behind him, I would think. There are 4 or 5 hitters in Frisco that could be promoted as soon as there is room for them in Round Rock.Guessing Leody. Not sure any other position players come up except Bubba.

The sad thing is a guy like Smith I think will make impact and help but not near enough. Sure not thinking they want to set with Culbertson Kole or Miller soon. Willie and Solak may be viewed differentlyLeody has backed up so I wouldn't bring him up. Smith is very close to being ready, if not already ready. Bubba is probably just behind him, I would think. This spurt of winning may delay any movement on that front. The front office may have to be convinced that we will not contend this year first.
He had a terrible first week or so that has held his numbers down. All of his numbers have been going up steadily after a terrible start. His slugging is still down from last year though, even if you exclude the first week or so of the season. Hopefully, that begins to go up soon.Noticed that Josh Smith's SLG Pct is down this year which of course affects his OPS. Maybe it is his getting acclimated to AAA pitching.
