Why was Martin pitching in the 9th? He had a bad outing the last time in a leverage spot

i would prefer Smith over Culberson, Ibanez or White
Of course long term wise. The 200000 question is Is he ready. He has not had many MILB ABs as previously mentioned. But yes he will need to be rostered at some point

he hits everything and he handles multiple position and after watching some of the "fielding" today he's better than any of Culberson, Ibanez or White

i wondered that too. why not Barlow
Well he threw a weak breaking ball right down the middle for the RHB. Looked like a bad matchup

Martin is on my “not a part of rangers future list”

Missed the game. See we lost 6-5. Sounds like we played bad today.

Zak Reks has hit well in 5 plus minor league year so far. Looked pretty good in his brief stay earlier this year. The guy seems under rated..

Would have bet we would sweep. 5 runs and 5 errors do not add equate to a very good game.

I know where you're coming from but until we actually WIN a WS.....eh............!
Lol. We showed we could win with that pitching staff in 2011. We didn't, but that was not due to the pitching stafff coming up short. We just needed different manager decisions and we would have won it. So, as far as I am concerned, we proved that with those pitchers we could win.

Foscue is not far behind at .919
Ornelas at .852 isn’t terrible considering he doesn’t seem to have that raw power, but he’s hitting .345 with a .382 OBP. Not bad for a guy that just turned 22. A lot of guys are about to be drafted in the first couple of rounds around that age because they’re hitting .345 in college. This guys doing it in AA. I like Ornelas

Would definitely be ok with him coming up and Ibanez going down. I wouldn’t necessarily expect Duran to be an all star straight out of the gate but why not now? Can’t be much worse than Ibanez at the plate. Or much worse than Miller with the glove at 3B.
