What facts have you brought up? When you say something like players are more highly thought of, that is the definition of an opinion. Lol. It's a fact the Eagles WR sucked ass in 2016.
Matthews unquestionably didn't suck ass his first two years before Wentz got there. That would be a fact.

As it's been said on here, Wentz seems to be the cause of some friction with teammates while Baker is the exact opposite. Doesn't sound like egotistical really.

:noidea:
Lol, what a difference a year makes.

Wentz had the golden white boy QB character until a boxing writer wrote a hit piece. Check your facts.

Then why did he have pedestrian games in many of the close games?

The games ATF mentioned he combined for 4 TD's and 0 INT's, not including the Arizona game. He didn't have a lot of yards.

Matthews had just under 1900 yards, 12.2 YPC, and 16 TDs in his first 2 seasons combined. That is about as far from shitty as you can expect from a WR's first two years without them being on a Julio/AJ/OBJ level. But then in his 3rd (Wentz's first), he had barely 800 yards, 11 YPC and 3 TDs.

Wanna know who had proven to be a shitty WR in the NFL? Breshad Perriman before he was cut. Then he joins Baker and things change.

Have you seen who the other WR's were for the eagles in 2015? A rookie Agholor, Josh Huff, Miles Austin and Riley Cooper. He was the best of a shitty crop no question there.

And that proves Baker is egotistical how?

Fair enough....but do you really not get that better QBs will get "better play" out of WRs than lesser QBs would? when Kizer was the Browns' QBs their WRs and TEs could not look any worse.

Yeah, I definitely think that. I also think the Eagles WR sucked ass in 2016. Not one guy ranked in the top 75.

LOL have you seen who has been on the Browns recently? Higgins was shit. Njoku was decent but hadn't been great by any means. The rest were all first year guys on the Browns. Matthews' career trajectory was clearly facing straight up before Wentz got there. I have no idea how you're going to argue that.

Also a fact Matthews was better the previous season before "sucking ass" with Wentz.

Yes, he was better. But he was so bad in 2016 we got rid of him. I'd say trading him out for Jeffrey worked out okay.

Matthews was never that good. He dropped a ton of passes. His entire career with the eagles, at least his first stint. It's hilarious you think Wentz is the reason Matthews isn't any good.

He had 11 drops combined the two years before Wentz got there. In 2015, he had the 33rd most drops in the league. As a rookie he was 21st. That is not "a ton". His drop rate as a rookie was 5.8% but then dropped to 3.9% his 2nd year. Those are really solid.

Your argument was that Cleveland's receivers were so much better this year than what Philly had in 2016, but it just doesn't add up.

Already did, they're there for you to try to read. Damn fine WR his first 2 years, then they felt compelled to cut him after just 1 year with Wentz when his numbers dropped.

He talked shit before a bunch of games in College, did a stupid stare down to Hue Jackson once Jackson was on the newly reformed 'Bungals', and did various douchebaggery acts in College (like planting flags on opposing fields). I mean just Google 'Baker Mayfield douche' and all will be clear.

I might be replying to the most homer post of all time. I get you're a Browns fan so I'd still give you a hug, but c'mon man.
OU fan here. You apparently hate football or have no sense of what true 'douchbaggery' looks like.

Baker honked his scro at Kansas, told Baylor he was their daddy, and got plowed by SEC speed cops in Arkansas. We call that a 'weekend' here in the Biblebelt.

The whole "he talked shit before a bunch of college games" is the dumbest part. Can't really find this "bunch of college games" he's referring to.

In 2016 he was tied for 11th in drops. That was always a problem. At no point in his first 3 seasons did I ever think he was going to be a stud. He is essentially what Michael Carter Williams was with the sixers. If you're the only option you're going to put up decent numbers. MCW was rookie of the year and he sucks.

And, neither WR unit is/was good. But the eagles in 2016 was awful.

no mistaking Mayfield as a choir boy, but all the pearl clutchers need to move on to Tennis or something if the meanie football players hurt their hearts.
