I have a very small frame of reference here but it’s something. I played pickup ball with Brent Price at OU and I can say I hit a 3 on him. I can also say he totally let me get that one shot off. So no, no chance lol.

Exactly and that was messing around in a gym, not playing in an actual NBA game 5 on 5 that counted. 15 points is ridiculous.

I peaked in High School, even then my senior year the coach was clear I was not a good enough athlete to get on the floor. I made the team for moving without the ball and rotating correctly...mainly to be an object lesson in practice. You are going to let Mebert get a rebound?

Fun fact: I did get to play heavy minutes when we played a school that recruited and competed nationally. I got 4 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and one set of balls to the face when the guy leaped over me to dunk the fuck out of it.

Man, I used to play with D1 guys all the time. Could hold my own, setting screens, playing D, boxing out, hustling my ass off…

But sometimes in the summer, Chris Crawford would show. (Hawks Chris Crawford). And he made us look and feel like fools. And I’m not sure how many times he even scored 15 points in an NBA game.

Unless the players on your team are also incentivized to help you get to 15, you ain’t seeing the ball enough to get anywhere close.

Didnt score 15 points in any game in HS, when I was in shape playing against teenagers. I’m not gonna score 15 in an NBA game.
