In 2016 Football Outsiders ranked Matthews as the 76th best WR, Dorial Green Beckman as the 81st best WR and Agholor as the 88th best WR. Eagles had one of the worst skill units in the NFL in 2016. Ertz was rated as the 17th best TE.
And you think they are ranked lower than a 4th round rookie who had not played in a year and Perriman, who was just released?

We'll see what Baker does in year 2. I doubt he'll put up Wentz numbers in year 2. But it all comes down to health for Wentz. I'm not sure he stays healthy, unfortunately.
will he put up Wentz level #s from year 2? after seeing what he did as a rookie, while no lock I wouldn't doubt this kid is capable at all.

He talked shit before a bunch of games in College, did a stupid stare down to Hue Jackson once Jackson was on the newly reformed 'Bungals', and did various douchebaggery acts in College (like planting flags on opposing fields). I mean just Google 'Baker Mayfield douche' and all will be clear.

I might be replying to the most homer post of all time. I get you're a Browns fan so I'd still give you a hug, but c'mon man.

WOW! That is terrible, what an awful person LOL I know plenty of great football players that were "douchebags" not even sure that really screams the title douchebag tbh. I would rather have a QB that plays and plays well than a guy sitting the bench every postseason.

My bad. They only had 5 wins in 2017 that were over 14 points, so still not "blowing out a shit load of teams".

7 of the 10 he started and finished they won by double digits. They went on a 7 week stretch where the closest win was by 5 at a playoff team. They were destroying teams.

True, but he also had 176 yards in a close win vs NYG, 222 yards in a close win vs CAR, and then 304 in a blowout vs ARI, so in 30% of his games he bucked your trend.

Yes, I didn't say we blew EVERY team out. Christ almighty. In his 10 wins he started and finished 5 were blowouts, 2 others were comfortable wins. He also didn't play in 3.25 games, which obviously lowered his passing yards. And as far as that Zona game 250 of those yards came in the first 3 quarters. So that is basically proving my point.

why yes, I do. 4th round rookie WRs who hadn't played in a year and guys who are on the scrap heap aren't as well thought of as 1st and 2nd round WRs.

Well to answer your initial question then since you are incorrect, football Outsiders ranked Callaway and Perriman's 2018 seasons MUCH better than Matthews and Agholor's seasons in 2016.

And you must have missed where I said where they'd be ranked BEFORE the season. A 4th round rookie who sat out a season and another found on the scrap heap.

Their 2018 success was BECAUSE they played with Baker.

And you don't suppose that had anything to do with their QB?

So the Zona blowout where he had a ton of yards proves your points the blowouts mean he's going to have lower passing yards?

Mayfield injected life into the Browns. That must have been a huge -not hue- task.
