Divisional rival that has had our number for a few years now... Big game for us... A loss? We're in last place in the division... A Win? We could find ourselves in 1st place again...

DK, Abe Lucas, C. Young, Noah Fant out for the game...

George Fant is activated and could see the start at RT and A. Bradford has won the RG starting job for the rest of the season (No more sharing with C. Haynes during the game)

We've got to limit these boneheaded, self inflicted plays that keep putting us into huge holes far too often... The Seahawks are averaging 8.7 yards to go this year on 3rd down... That's atrocius... Penalties, sacks, negative plays are killing us here... Seahawks OL lead the NFL with a total of 28 penalties via a False start or holding call... Gotta stop that... That's almost 4 per game...

Bumpus made a great point on Friday stating that the Hawks need to rollout Geno... Geno is being pressured on 40% of his drop backs this year, 5th highest in the NFL, while attempting almost 39 passes per game...Get him moving out of the pocket with a run or pass... Get to the place where the opponents DL can stop just pinning their ears back knowing that Geno is going to be in the pocket for the most part... Getting a defense to flow to one side of the field will create more throwing lanes as well... For someone as tall as Geno, he tends to get the ball batted or tipped more than his peers at the LOS...

I would say focus on getting the run game going but this OL just can't seem to sustain anything in that category... I would say that I'd rather go 3 and out with 3 straight runs vs going 3 and out with 3 straight passes... This team has to figure this out... Brock and Salk were talking about how K. Walker is missing some holes where the OL has created some lanes... They mentioned that he seems to be bouncing it outside too often due to him not having faith that a lane will be open up the middle... Makes some sense I guess... If that's the case, I'd rather him fight for 4 yards rather than bouncing it outside for a big play resulting in a no gain or 1 yard loss...

Going to be a tough game... I'm going to say, Seahawks 27 Rams 24...

If we get blown out today or look like we did against the Giants, 9ers, OR Bills (Jesus 3 games we've just been annihilated at home), the boo birds are gonna be HUGE today.

Sadly, I think Seattle's definitely lost their homefield advantage. I expect the stadium to be half blue and gold/yellow today.

On your note @Anointed One - I'm glad they finally decided on a guard, this rotation shit was driving me nuts. I don't know who thought that was a good idea but they need to be on notice. Hopefully Fant (George) can play. DK out another week hurts, but this offense has enough weapons theoretically we should be able to make SOMETHING happen.

This College crap of no huddle and then calling shit at the line needs to stop IMO. I would like one game without it, and to see if the blocking improves. The point of the huddle is to get everyone aligned, make sure everyone is on the same page, and pump guys up that we're gonna smash it down their throat. This no huddle and then audibles at the line is prob. confusing some guys and just causing a general disconnect on the team. And before someone says, "Shark you have no evidence of that." There was two times in the Atlanta game where we almost snapped the ball into a guy running across the line with 1 second on the playclock... we're also top 5 in most false starts this year. It doesn't help when you're trying to Peyton Manning at the line without Peyton Manning.

If Hawks lose, all the fans that came on board in 2013 be like...

Yah, as pessimistic as I am, I still have some faith this team can turn things around. The 90s were some dark years. But we really need to stop getting annihilated at home.

Dial up pressure ( blitz ), Play more man press coverage. DO NOT turn the ball over ( Geno! ). Convert 3rd downs. Run the damn ball 35 times and DO NOT throw the ball more than 35 times. If they do all this they will win.

Screamin, we have a better chance of discovering intelligent life on the fuckin' moon than accomplishing all that.

7 straight runs to start the game resulting in (2) 1st downs...

Then 3 straight passes resulting in a 1 yard gain, a sack and an INC...

... Now we punt!

These passing plays just take so long to develop... and EVERYTHING is outta the shotgun.
