He's got 2 years after this year on his ROOKIE contract. If he keeps it up, obviously he will... but that's a huge unknown. As with any 'rookie' (I get Mahomes isn't that but he is basically playing his rookie year) QB, let's give it another year with adjustments by teams.

Okay dude. I seriously think you need some help at this point. I said, "He's got 2 years AFTER this year on his (elaborating) ORIGINAL rookie contract. He's literally on his rookie contract AFTER THIS YEAR for 2 more years. He's in his 2nd year, of a 4 year contract, thus after this year, he's got 2 more years. There's a 5th year option (I believe) but that still has to be exercised and is generally MUCH more expensive.

Please tell me you agree here. I don't want to start linking spotrac.
