Week 2 Patriots vs Jaguars

Pats need to stop the Jags on a three and out and cool off Bortles. Letting him run for 12 yards is unforgivable.

Someone needs to get a solid hit on him. He tends to get a bit jumpy if he gets a hard hit. As long as he stays clean and doesn't get hit, he looks like Unitas. He gets whacked and he looks like Geno Smith.

The defense looks like shit. Two runs in a row for a total of 30 yards.

They keep stuffing 8 in the box and Bortles is audibling and hitting easy passes.

Now comes the wait. Patriots don't play until 4:25 PM EST. Great for the Californians who sleep until noon but it sucks because the early games are of zero interest to AFC East fans.

The defense is just bad. Not one legit playmaker out there. Not one guy we can count on for a big play of any kind. LB’s are painstakingly slow. I truly don’t think we have a top 15 player at any position on defense. Very agitating.

The game was a 5:30 AM start. I normally get up at 5:30 anyways. I only got up early to shit, shower and shave before the game. The way this game is going, I could have got up at 5:30 and got ready during the game.....

My wife is a die hard fan. She switched to CNN. I've just turned off the announcers. I can't stand it when they bubble and goo goo over anything that goes against the Patriots. These guys are creamin' in their jeans because the Pats offense is stagnant.

I guess we are due a clunker of a game every once in awhile. But damn I hate watching them. Maybe Brady can lead this team back.

I have to laugh. I know that both teams have to play in the heat and Brady has only won one game in his career when he's played above 85 degrees. BUT, if the temp was 9.7 instead of 97, how well do you think the Jags would play? This is ugly, but it'll be a wake up call for the Patriots, both offense and defense.

They go to Detroit next week and then have the Dolphins at home.

Edelman comes back and the Colts come to Foxboro.

Then comes the real test. KC and Mahomes come to Foxboro. mahomes has set a record for TD passes in two games. He threw four last week and six today.

Hate seeing them lay an egg like today.....but who knows, maybe something will happen and they'll make a game out of it.
