You just have to close out that game. TH cannot throw that ball. Simple as that. Ridgeway just took all the hope away with that penalty. It was the right call. We would have had plenty of time with that timeout to try to get an FG. Bad coaching and we cant get good qb play. The defense played great today until that last drive when Minn converted 3 3rd downs then scored. Its a bad loss. Just like the titan's game.

I think Wentz gets a chance in 2 weeks.

Don't ever want to see wince again. We have weapons on offense. Not enough planning to get those weapons the ball creatively. No qb, no real OC and a HC who likely ranks near the bottom in in game clock management. Epic failure of this offense.
Defense played well enough to win. Some bone head plays and penalties but overall solid performance.
The optimism is the team may be sold and this regime will and should be dismissed if the new owner/owner's are listening. I believe after watching this staff for over 3 years we could all agree they are not competent enough to bring any type of sustained success to the organization.

I understand you play Howell, but we could be 6-6 with Wentz. Is that out of the playoffs? The defense just shut down the 2nd best team in the NFC. So you want to throw the season away?

Cmon dean, TH is what he is, a backup just like Wentz. We need a REAL bona-fide QB and leader at that position. Oh and new HC and OC as well.

i agree with most of that. I just think its possible to go 6-6 with Wentz. Then you are still in the playoff hunt. If Wentz losses to Houston or Atl then you bench him.

wow. the guy had to play better teams. TH can't make the throws to win games. Today was the perfect example. Blame caoching all you want but he missed the 4th down throw to Terry and the INT was just a horrible throw to a wide-open Thomas who is 6-6. he hits those throws we probably win the game.

2-4. And let's recap:

Jags--Win
Lions--Terrible loss. Offense and defense were atrocious, then in the second half the offense was pretty good (against a bad Lions defense).
Cowboys--Loss against a very good Cowboys team
Eagles--Loss against the best team in the league
Titans--Wentz played a really good game against one of the better defenses and we lost a game to the 5-2 Titans.
Bears--Win with a broken hand.

So apparently one bad loss when our defense was mostly terrible and our offensive line was starting players that should be cut is enough for people to assume Wentz is terrible.

Rivera doesn'tgive a nasty, bloody fuck about that 2nd rounder. As soon as Wince is given the green light. RR is gonna put him back in the line up and a part of me wouldn't blame him. Taylor's arm is counterfeit n his decision making at times is worse.

Agreed but no reason to hang on to any of this staff honestly. The new staff will get the most from this defensive personnel and Young who should NOT entertain playing this year imo.

I think you gotta get Young's feet wet. Not expecting much from him, but I want him to shake off the rust this year, so next year week 1 he's rolling.

If this were my team, answer is no. He has all off season to get healthier and stronger from the injury. The rust part he can knock off next preseason.

never said he was. Look RR knows the team is going to be sold and he is gone. Do you think he really cares about the 2nd round pick? He is going to try to win now. He already called TH a roll a coaster ride.
