I'd be ok with JF, or Mack, but I don't think either will be there.
If that's the case, I'd say trade back a few picks and get Mosely or Dennard later in first and nab Mettenberger in 2nd or 3rd.

No to Johnny Football, I promise that kid will bust.

I wouldn't mind trading back a few spots and picking Justin Gilbert.

Yes hockey but I worry about his ability to go through his reads and when facing good teams he didn't do to well. He's got a good arm and I do think he's risen up boards but I do not want him at 8 and he won't be there in the 2nd round.

What about someone like Tom Savage with our 3rd round pick from the Seahawks?

I don't know a lot about Savage but it does sound like he could be a pretty good pick come the 3rd round. I definitely like the idea of a strong armed qb.

I agree that taking Carr at 8 is definitely a big time gamble but trading back a little bit I do like the prospects of it. The fact that he has played in a pro style system and has played in multiple different systems is intriguing.

We'll definitely see though. If Mack is still around at 8 I am all aboard that selection as well.

IMO Carr is a stretch in the first round altogether.
I like Mettenberger in the 3rd, but I think realistically he goes later in 2nd. But that's who I want even if JF is there at #8.

If I had to choose between Carr and JF at #8 I would take Carr. But I hope we draft neither of them that early. Carr won't make the 2nd round but I wouldn't be against him in the 2nd but i'm with JR, I want Mettenberger but he won't make it to the 3rd round.
