I'm torn about the situation. On the one hand I am violently opposed to one's personal life being the business of their boss. On the other hand, this guy is definitely a role model and I feel like people in that situation should remember that and be careful with who they associate with. I don't know. Is there a good solution?

That's a tough one.
It's hard to tell the people you grew up with to piss off. The guy does some great work in the community.
Is he a gangster during the off season, and a great guy during the season??
Who the hell knows?
