Any chance the Ravens can upset the Pats in Gillette? I don't know either team well enough, but I do know Forsett is having a good year and Flacco is a good leader and doesn't make too many mistakes. I also heard the Pats O-Line was not so great, so that could be in the Ravens favor.

Any insights from others who have watched those teams more?

Ravens have beaten pats 2 out of last 3 playoff games, with the third being due in large part to an easy drop td and then doinked chip shot field goal at the end.... I would say there is a good chance they win. They play the pats very tough.

I have watched Baltimore a couple of times this year and came away thinking they were very good. Pretty tough D and Flacco can be a killer.
I would not be shocked if that team reps the AFC this year.

Baltimore will have to do 3 things in my opinion to win this game...They have to play turnover free football. They have been one of the best in the playoffs at protecting the football but this Patriot defense is no joke. The next going along with that is get a turnover or two. Essentially win the turnover battle and they stand a good chance. The final part I would say is the Red Zone defense has to hold up. They finished 2nd this season in keeping teams out of the end zone when they make it to the Red Zone. They will need to make New England kick field goals for this one. Do that and I think the Ravens come out on top.

They have a pretty good chance to win if they score more points than the Patroits.

There's two things the Pats hate seeing.

1) The Giants in the SB
2) Flacco and the Ravens

With that being said, I think NE gets a close victory but no way would I be shocked if Balt won.

It depends which Flacco shows up. The guy's inconsistent as hell but his A game is top tier. And the guy brings it in the playoffs. If you look at his passer rating from 2010 forward in the postseason and it has to be well above 100.

Pats have looked liked the better team and its a home game for them, so you got to think they win this game. However you just never know, Flacco gets hot and the defense plays inspired, maybe they pull a surprise.

Ravens have some good history in the playoffs vs Patriots, but that was last time. This is this time.

I can't pick against Brady at home in the playoffs.

hmm lets see, the Ravens have the #8 total defense Vs the #11 total offense.
The Pats have the #13 total defense vs the #12 total offense.
So the Pats #11 Offense and #13 Defense
against Ravens #12 Offense and #8 Defense
That's pretty close but the big thing here is the Pats at home and they have been one of the best Home teams in the NFL for a very LONG time. I just do not see the Ravens going into foxborough and Beating the Pats. They will need their best game of the season ( that's the playoffs for you ) and even with their BEST performance they would be hard pressed to win.

I'm going to put a score on this game.
Pats 27, Ravens 24 with the Pats getting a turnover late deep in their territory to seal the victory.

I heard on the radio that Aaron Rodgers has a torn calf muscle but will play. The line has come down from 7 to 5.5 in favor of the Pack. Does anyone see the Cowboys pulling the upset? I'm starting to think the Cowboys now can Rodgers is banged up pretty good.
