Why is 20 the arbitrary number? Forcing kids to go to college or as put baseball U isn’t a feasible solution. It will be cheaper for owners to keep drafting or signing players who will never make it in the game rather that setting up a school that teaches life lessons for the same amount of players who won’t make it. Privatized academies are already a slimeball industry so making that the standard for all under 20 year old baseball players isn’t a solution either.
