Oklahoma Sooners
This was my favorite Colorado game.
We have from the perspective of end of season ranked opponents.....that's what the selection committee and the strength of schedule formulas value.
Isn't it boul-dar where the chicks use rocks for deodorant, skip shaving and bath once per week?Havn't ran across that thankfully. You sure you don't mean Loveland?![]()

Loveland is just a boring, conservative town in the shadow of FoCo.
Actually, it's a Lewis and Floorwax thing from back in the day.And boul-dar? That must be a Loveland thing.

What OOC schedule have you played in the past 10 years that ended with more than 1 of the 4 teams you play ranked at the end of the season?
Who generally plays an OOC schedule that sees more than one of their OOC opponents finish ranked?
The comparison is not to some ideal that exists only in your head. The only valid comparison is what other programs actually do.
You stated UF has one of the best OOC schedules around. In order for that to happen one can generally agree it’s more than 1 top 25 team in a 4 game OOC schedule. Most teams only play 3 game schedules now so the notion that UF plays one of the best OOC schedules around is absolute BS when only 25% of their OOC is quality.
No. What one must do is look at what everybody else has played OOC. That’s the only valid comparison - not some mythical standard. UF has played more OOC opponents who finished the season ranked over the last 20, 30, 40 years than all but about four or five other programs. Ergo, UF has played one of the strongest OOC schedules of anybody.
Again, you are relying most of that ranking on 1 team. 1 team out of 4 is 25%. That’s a horrible rating considering people that play 3 OOC games still manage to play a ranked team too. Any considering you have traveled once out of the state of Florida OOC since 91 you shouldn’t really be talking about playing strong OOC schedules.
in 2028 and 2029. Cool! We've never played them. I look forward to it. Also we'll cross state lines, cross the Mississippi and rack up a lot of air miles so I know everybody will be happy about this announcement.

Again, it does not matter if it’s one program. It’s the number of games against quality opponents that matters. That those opponents wear different colored jerseys depending on the year is not important. Out of state does not matter. No strength of schedule formula includes it and the selection committee does not look at state lines. They do however look at quality wins.
It actually does matter if one isn’t trying to schedule good. UF relies on FSU being quality and that’s it. It’s really smart actually because it’s state of mind thinking is we only have to beat Vandy, USCe and Kentucky and bare minimum we are bowl eligible. Still not one of the toughest OOC schedules.
If UF relies on fsu being good then that was a really good bet over the last 40 years given that they’ve been a top 5 program over that time. Ergo, UF has played more ranked OOC teams than all but a handful - literally 5 or fewer - other programs in America over the last 20-40 years. So yes, it’s been one of the toughest OOC schedules by any objective measure.
