I know the fans would want it.

I don't care if we play Kentucky every other year. I'd rather see a home and home with somebody like USC or Michigan.

I'm sure most would prefer play those two than our games against you and Auburn back to back.

And, I hope we never play Miami again. Their fanbase is a bunch of street thugs and the entire school is an embarrassment to this fine state.

I can see why you are confused. I was talking about Florida the thread title. TBO I don't give a rat's ass about Iowa. The Gators haven't been out of the state of Florida for a regular season OOC game since 1991. I think it's great that they are going out of state for future regular season OOC home and home games.

"The last time Florida played a NON-CONFERENCE GAME-outside of the state of Florida, in the REGULAR SEASON, WAS 1991 (they lost to Syracuse)". Yes 1991.

Actually Florida played Michigan in Dallas a couple years ago.

Except they rarely ever play Miami. Over the last decade they are just as likely to play a second FCS school as they are Miami. So it’s typically two scrub G5 teams, an FCS, then FSU; and in that order.

In this century, UF has played miami in the regular season 5 times and has a couple more games scheduled. So the average is about once every 4 or 5 years. That's more than rarely IMO.

Or you can say that they have played 5 times in 32 years, so once every 6+ seasons.

In seasons in which there's been a 12th game, its actually more than once every 4-5 years.

Yes like I mentioned before, Florida and Michigan played in Arlington Texas in 2017.

You can keep changing the goal posts but it doesn’t change the fact that you don’t play them very often.

id rather lose a foot than give up beer for diabetes.....

I'm not on any medication. As long as I keep my weight under control, it works out. I was never a big beer drinker anyway, except in the Army. I've always preferred mixed drinks.

The 12th game is significant because that is what allowed UF to start playing them again. Since that time, UF has played them about 1 year out of every four. That's more frequent than "not very often".
