Maybe all those "insane" callers suggesting Canucks trade Raymond, Ballard and Malhotra to CBJ for Nash were onto something.

didnt get it :confused2:

It's a reference to a thread from several weeks ago that started out about some free agent and morphed into summer travel talk. I asked Dash to change the topic (partly jokingly) and he did. Just a reference to that.

There's part of me that thinks this is a balanced trade. And part of me that thinks the BJs just gave up the cornerstone of their franchise and a star talent to build a nice little 3rd line. :L

Hooooooowwwwwww...sooooooooooooooooooooonnn!

How CBUS didn't get Stepan or someone of that caliber is beyond me.

Quite a bit to give up. Dubinsky has simmered down recently though. I'd say the Rags made out. They're going to be one gritty fucking team this year.

Well, hopefully Philly will have Weber to lay down some bionic elbows on those fools!

That is a joke of a return for Columbus. This further solidifies my theory that Sather has blackmail photos of various GMs around the league. He sheds the salary of an overrated mental case and gets an elite scorer all in one move. Erixon and the pick, prospects shmospects. God dammit.

time for Rick Nash to learn how (or time to start giving a damn) to block shots for Torts system

Nash's 21 blocked shots last year would put him close to the bottom of the Rangers blocked shots team list ... only player with more than 35 games played and fewer blocked shots that Nash on last years Rangers was Mike Rupp (60 games - 13 blocked shots)

As a fan of a Western Conference team that is not Columbus, I approve of this trade - Now we need to work on realignment and moving Minnesota out of the NW division.
