Great news! The MRI on Seager showed there was nit a break. His return will be based on when the pain and swelling subside.
I would like to improve offensively at both 1B and catcher. I will give Heim until the end of the season to make that evaluation, but I am expecting more of the same from him.Team future looks bright. The OF is a strong point. If Carter comes back healthy and if Hill stays on track, Langford and Garcia rounds out a potent group.
The IF also looks good too. Jung Seager Semien are mainstays. Only concern is Lowe as he is not measuring up to where he was. Would like to hear your opinion. Heim is a strong catcher but is not hitting like he can. Comments on Heim.
Bench looks good also in Smith and likely Duran.
Pitching remains unknown because of FA and health issues.
At this point I give a grade of B+.
I too have concerns with Garcia and Semien on offense. I believe Semien will work it out. Not sure about Garcia.I would like to improve offensively at both 1B and catcher. I will give Heim until the end of the season to make that evaluation, but I am expecting more if the same from him.
I also have concerns about Garcia and maybe even Semien.
Not a bad idea. Huff is likely history with this team. Need to look at the future at catcher.I wouldn't mind the Rangers drafting a college catcher with their first pick.
Is there still swelling? ThxThe MRI on Seager showed there was nit a break. His return will be based on when the pain and swelling subside.
They insinuated that.Is there still swelling? Thx
I agree about Semien. I would not mess with him. Last year many were complaining about him and when it was all said and done he had a very good year.I too have concerns with Garcia and Semien on offense. I believe Semien will work it out. Not sure about Garcia.
They are certainly not going to trade him. I just mentioned I have some concern about his hitting. He would have to struggle for as long as Odor for them to consider moving on from him.Semien is going nowhere. He just has to figure things out. Hopefully in the 5 or 6 hole but probably wishful thinking.
That was an incredible catch and the Angels as they always seem to do signed him to a ridiculous contract for someone of his caliber based on that one catch and that best year of his career and promptly did very little for the Angels.Eighteen years ago today, GMJ made his incredible catch.
