I think the WS hangover is real especially for Heim and Seager and likely Seager and some pitching and even Adolis

But we still have players that are going to. Wes to prove themselves
Adolis is a mystery. Some say he changed his stance. Bet Smith is wearing out

Much contributory factors even to Wyatt and Evan and Jung injuries

Heim has looked frustrated at times at the plate this year. Garcia and Seager seem to have the hangover with their expressions. Both had super emotional moments in last years playoffs so no surprise.
Not worried about Seager getting back to where he was just not sure about Garcia

Would like to see Adolis DH at least 50% and Duran take RF and some 1B
Same with Corey and Smith
The platoon with Leody is ok for now
Let Kelly take 1/2 or more of catching

No more Janks DH. I can live with Robbie getting a DH to LHP for now

If no progress by September bring up a bat likely Foscue if he is going for play regularly which means sitting a vet maybe even some 2B/1B

I would let Urena start until he proves he can’t
Really on the edge re Bradford. Ideally we felt him start but if our pitchers are healthy and effective then maybe we can send him down to stretch out.

Evan Grant thinks Urena pitches Friday and then either Dunning or Bradford goes Saturday. Jeff Wilson thinks it could be a combination of Dunning and Bradford on Saturday.

i would like to see it but Crim is not on the 40 so we would have to DFA someone to clear space for him and then we would have to move 2 off the active roster so we could bring them up.

WS hangover, fatigue emotionally and physically w/long season hurts

We can still win but something has to click and need a few players to carry us but
If we don’t win, we have a solid window and other windows are diminishing

In the meanwhile do your best to enjoy the ride.

And the past one strike away is fading away

I have always felt his body type was susceptible to injury. Because of that I felt they should have traded him. So I think you are probably right.

The first tear may be related to allowing him to steal bases this year. 6 stolen bases in April while he had 6 stolen bases the previous 4 seasons because he wasn’t allowed to steal for fear of injury.
Bet his stealing bases days are over.

I’m not giving up yet. Looking at 2 months of meaningless games is depressing.

If they can shave 2.5 games off the lead by September 1st then anything can happen but so far there hasn’t been the magic we’re looking for.
