A couple of mumbling around. Saw they inquired about Lester, Kurt Suzuki, Colon and a few others. I just hope they don't give up a top prospect for a 2 month rental.

I think we will get a bullpen arm and I think we will get Suzuki.

i think we should stay with caleb . bedard has been dfa lol . most teams want edrod , harvey , gausman , berry and i would just hang up the phone . :agree: if matt was behind the plate we wouldn't have the pitching we are doing .

If we get a reliever, I'd like to see Koji back here if he's on the block. We're not going to trade for top tier talent because DD has insisted that he's not giving up the prospects. I see maybe a trade for a reliever or another low end starter that we don't need. Unfortunately there's really not any second basemen on the market that would help us out.

Seeing as former Rangers do well in Baltimore, and I'm pulling for the O's to win it all this year, if middle relief is what you need then Cotts from Texas could be the answer.

No idea if it's on the radar or what pieces would be exchanged, but he's been solid two years now.

I've read that we are looking at the Astros' Kuechel.

I've seen Cotts mentioned..wouldn't mind him at all.

Kuechel & Cosart (Astros) are young but middle of the road guys that we already have. Something needs to be done with Norris as he continue to struggle. We have a glaring hole at 2B as witnessed lasts night and why Flaherty continues to get starts over Schoop is beyond me. Finally Buck removes his head from arse and plays Delmon Young who does nothing but contribute. If we do nothing at all, at the very least add a capable catcher who can hit.

this team would be worse with matty behind the plate ! yes matt is a good d catcher but sucks at framing pitches and calling games . roch is hoping lomb gets another chance ( sucks at d ) on that play lastnight it seems ryan would have beat albert to second .

If it's true, I hope to god they don't give up any of the 4 top SP prospects for a 2-month rental. I have heard it may be a package that includes Gonzo and some other minor-leaguers.

Also heard they're interested in Bonifacio. I think that would be a great pickup, and he'd probably be pretty cheap. They are in desperate need for some speed, and I think his OPS vs. lefties is over 1.000

Yeah well, Ryan was late to the bag which is inexcusable. Schoop is just a solid defensively and brings more to the plate than Ryan. If we are not going to make a move to improve 2B, then let the better player play which is Schoop by far.

Masterson off the board to the Cardinals so maybe there is some truth to the Lester deal. Btw, I'm sure Gausman & Bundy will be scheduled into the rotation next year along with Tillman, Chen & Ubaldo. Not sure where Norris fits in if at all, BP maybe?
