Lets get it back on track.
Driving home, Windy was saying that once Cousins agent got the news of the potential trade, he started calling other teams telling them not to trade because Cousins wouldnt resign with them.
Vlade just didnt articulate it very well, but thats what he meant when he said the offers decreased.

I really wonder what team had the better offer out there for him. I mean coming from the Kings, how many organizations out there would he say he wouldn't want to play for? But then again I guess New Orleans, in terms of living appeal, is better than most.

I heard Pistons offered Drummond+, but not sure when.

I thought the deal Vlade mentioned may have been Portland. (which went away when they did trade with Nuggets) If the Blazers would have included CJ or Lillard -- that could have gotten it done.

I can breathe with all of this laker news coming in warp speed. Not sure how to feel about his...but in the end, the majority of us wanted a 1st rd pick for Lou, so mission accomplished I guess

Unfortunate that the Lakers got a first round pick for Lou Williams, but I expected it. The pick should be in the back end of the first round at least. Kings need to trade Collison, KK, and Afflalo/McLemore, hopefully get another first round pick for trading one or more of them.

ya think? I think New Orleans is kinda nasty....

it was a helluva lot of fun for a bachelor party, but to live there year round? ick...its a big freaking swamp that stinks.

nice deal for both teams...

Lakers get worse- get closer to keeping their pick, and get a late first rounder.....pretty much ideal if you ask me.

Maybe they will finally have some competence in the front office now.

Is Brewer expiring or no?

Brewer is on contract for a little more than Williams actually is next year....thats a bitch....

but - its prob. what they had to do in order to get a first rounder.

Both teams won I imagine they start Lou with James. Yikes.

Apparently, the Rockets have more than one first round pick. So it depends on which one they got.

They still haven't clarified which year/pick it is yet have they? Can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm pretty sure it's this year, but I haven't heard which one of their picks it is. If I had to guess, it's probably the Rockets pick (since most seemed to think the best they could do would be 2 second rounders) which is likely to be around 25-27.

Hopefully it ends up being a better pick than that.

Not seeing anywhere that Houston has multiple 1st round picks this year
