Maybe we should have a trade thread for guys their team is eagerly prepared to cut ties with but you don't want to end up here. The guy that comes immediately to mind for me is Randy Arozarena. And being from Cuba, the documents that claim he is 29 years old may be far from accurate. But, he seems like a Dipoto guy. Cheap, underperforming, and strikes out alot.

Oh Lord, no. If he can reach the Mendoza line with Tampa, he'd be worse than Polance here.

I wouldn't trade a top prospect for him or a current MLB pitcher for him. I pick him because I know with Jerry you have to pick a guy that isn't solid but has flaws and is cheap. I typically look at top guys and eliminate them right off. Then I go to second tier and remove them. Then I get to the third tier and start to wonder if they fit and if the price would be right. That is where I came up with Thomas. Plus he is under 30 which would be a nice change for Jerry.

It still makes me scratch my head why they turned their top minor league starter into a reliever. I mean if we were loaded with starters ready to come up if needed, then I get it.

I think it is fairly safe to say he and Ford won’t be in the Mariners organization after the deadline. He is a guy that is always on the prospect list but no one ever talks about and I know I always forget about him when talking about the middle infielders

I agree on Arroyo being gone, but not as sure for Ford only because I am not so sure we will get a guy worth trading him for.

I just think he is more valuable than a player we would get for him. Maybe I am wrong on that.
