Sad part is I thought we wouldn't have any Brady threads because of the 4 game suspension but no. Brady has mindfucked a lot of the posters here. After Pats won the first game with Jimmy G, these posters came out of the woodwork. Now Cam has lot 2 and the only thread was by a Carolina fan, Pitt only scores 3 points and nothing about Ben. Az loses 2 out of 3 games and 1 to Buffalo handily and nothing about Palmer.

Peyton had a very good game against the Patriots in the AFC Championship game (well, maybe not very good, but good for him last year). Belichick clearly has enough tape on Brock to figure out how to stop him. Brock isn't a very good quarterback.

So you are saying that Brock tearing up the patriots in part of one season clearly doesn't automatically mean that Brock is a legend? That you need multiple seasons and of course seeing him have post-season success before making the call that he's a better QB than Peyton Manning?

I've never thought Brock was all that and was frankly relieved when he signed with Houston. I did not think he was worth near what Denver offered, let alone what Houston offered.

Manning = more overrated than Brady. Trevor practice squad Semien dominating with that team.

Yeah he did pretty well in his second career start, but now that Belichick has a little game film to go off he completely destroyed Brock and the Houston offense.

Brock was losing home field advantage in the final game of the season before the Broncos switched back to Manning last year. If the Broncos had stuck with Brock they would have lost to San Diego, and probably would have beaten Houston in the wild card round before losing in New England. Brock is not a very good qb.

Yes he did he threw 2 tds to Owen Daniels I believe and limited his T/O's very good game. Your D is so good and running game too that really a game manager can do the job and possible another title. I remember beginning of the season when your QB put your team in holes because of the T/O's only to have your D step up big and score defensive points. Usually don't win a SB when your QB scores 2 points and has 2 t/o's, but your team did and kudos. That's why I didn't see a drop off this year

Wow really? I wasn't really sold on Bridgewater, thought he was a serviceable QB. Their D looks nasty so far, next 13 games will be very telling. Lot of posters base the season on 3 games I see. Ravens are 3-0 so they might take it all right @Oldschool739 ?

The whole football world has known something Providence, RI has ignored and kept secret for a very long time. Tom Brady is Overrated. Last Thursday certainly cemented the fact. We are talking about a QB nobody thought was good enough to start on an NFL team, was a game manager most of his career and would only have 1 SB if it wasn't for his kicker.

Tom Brady has been lauded by many as the GOAT because his teams have won 4 Super Bowls. Much of that credit HAS to be taken away after seeing what the Patriots have been able to do with backup quarterbacks.

Do you think Tom Brady is overrated?

Or what about Big Ben? Vick had a better win% than him last year. Dennis Dixon did a few years ago too.

Or what about Marino. He goes down, Mitchell brings them back in that game and wins 4 of the next 5 as well.

Or what about Unitas, Earl Morrall went 13-1 there.

Or what about Favre. He sure was no Rodgers. And the only time he missed time he showed the world that Joe Webb could win more than him.

Or what about Elway? Brister was 4-0 for him, Deberg also was so much better at 4-1.

Or Jim Kelly, Frank Reich had that 3-0 season.

Very well stated, it's a shame that some others can't stand the reasonable comparisons.
