Will there be a follow up poll "Where SHOULD JFF be drafted"? That way I don't look like a blind homer. He will be drafted in the top 5, should be drafted in round 3.

I said later in round 1. Seems his draft stock is falling at least a little. There for a while he was supposed to be the top quarterback taken but as the dust has settled he is now looking like that 3rd quarterback taken off the board and with teams realizing how much quality of players there are in that top 10 you just can't pass those guys up.

I would not draft johnnyhollywood. However, I voted later in round 1. Reason being I think some team will end up trading back and then still getting him.

I bet the Rams are hoping for this. Their later 1st round pick would be a prime pick to trade if JFF is sitting on the board when it goes on the clock.

IMO You have never come off as a homer. Blind at times but never a homer.

His stock has dropped a tad after the combine...if he doesn't throw at his pro day, it will drop more I think...that said OAK or CLE will pull the trigger...I think OAK.

Agree with the poster that added there should be a poll about where he SHOULD be drafted...I think late 2nd at the earliest more like mid 3rd.

He sure can douchy for a MOD. But by the same token JohnnyDollars it a bit sensitive when it comes to anything Manziel. You could mistake his damn shoe size and Johnny would be curled up in the corner crying.

That was exactly the scenario I was thinking. Won't go top 5 - too many good players out there who are less likely to bust. However those top 5 teams who pass will have a top 5 Second Round pick to trade to the Rams.

Either the Browns or Raiders could get Sammy Watkins and johhny.

JDM is a mod? Surely the Patriots board can do better than that.

Actually the Rams 2nd pick is probably going to be a little too pricey for those top 5 picks in the 2nd round. You are looking at them either having to trade the rest of their draft (even that probably wouldn't be enough) or having to trade this year's 2nd plus next year's first to get to that spot.


My thought is if he gets past those top 10 picks without being drafted he is going to fall to the picks in the 20's maybe even last 5 in the 1st round. This actually isn't unprecedented. It happened to Brady Quinn and Aaron Rodgers where they both fell quickly. Teams realize it is a guessing game of how high they have to trade up but most realize teams are not willing to throw away the rest of their draft just for one player. Usually if they are picking in the top 5 it is because they have lots of holes on the team that need filled. Plus with so many back up quarterbacks possibly available like that of Mallet, Osweiler, and Cousins teams will realize they could just trade that high 2nd round pick and still have the rest of their picks to fill in holes.
