Having followed the Vs thing on Directv and the Fox Sports channels on Dish, I'm sure the problem is Jizney wants the new gay network as a standard channel, but the sat providers I'm sure will only take it if it goes into their sports packages that subscribers would have to pay extra for, but it lowers the revenue to the network because there is less subscibers to the sports packages.....

I think it's ridiculous that a "worldwide" leader in sports is getting into bed with individual teams......I would say it's similar to NBC and Notre Dame, but neither of them have been relevant in college football in ages.....

I still think texas had no intentions of leaving the conference and they just used a little subterfuge to strong arm the Big12-2 into letting them have their own network while at the same time not only taking all the profits for themselves but getting the conference revenue share as well.
