So we are talking about an aging Wade that sometimes looks like he needs to retire, an aging Allen who can still shoot but just not the same especially on D, and Bosh who has now become basically a 3 pt shooter, not a grewt defender, and sometimes acts like he isn't on the court.

And this is all with a lack of a bench, the Heat have had a lack of bench players since Lebron got there. They had Mike Miller and Haslem, now they have Ray and Cole, Haslem hardly played. No bench and lack of depth is the key.

wade is still a top SG in league. Ray allen still best shooter in game. Bosh the only problem is he doesn't get shots. I'm sure if he landed on lakers he would regain his Toronto raptor days.

The current rumors are to add players like gasol, Kyle Lowry, Trevor ariza, Jordan hill. Those additions although unlikely to pull them all off would give them above average players at every position. Lakers never had PG like Lowry during kobe and shaq days. Brian shaw, tyronne lue, devean George mark Madsen. Lol your telling me the heat didn't have players last year better than that group.

Indy has the talent to beat Miami, they were just lacking the maturity and experience. Miami just got whooped.

Indiana will be a little better next season. They have some room to grow.
Young guys like George, Stephenson, and even Hibbert have room to improve.


I am not sure Miami will be any better.....probably the same or worse, but they are still likely to be better than Indiana for one more year.

Heat fans dreams of acquiring a Lowry/Carmelo type crushed. Deng indicated he wouldn't take below his market value to sign with the Heat. This could end up being a lot tougher than imagined to rebuild a contender.

The HEAT are trying hard, and they probably will find a way to assemble a contender.


But, it certainly is not going to be as easy as some simply predicted.


Nobody just leaves 20-40 million dollars just laying around.....not matter how much money you already have earned.
