Not saying it is right to discriminate on these grounds, but didn't you have like 3 different NBA teams listed as your favorites at one point? If not, I might be confusing you for someone else.

Yeah, I did.

But, I don't get your point.

When I joined, it asked me what teams I like.

I clicked all the ones that applied.

I had never been to this site before.

So, I had no way of knowing that those teams would show up as my avatar.

The Clippers have been my favorite team for 20 years.

But, I like the Knicks, and now the Suns, because they have one of my favorite former Clippers, Bledsoe.

I didn't realize liking multiple teams was a bannable offense :bullshit:.

To be fair, I don't think they knew that there really are Clippers and UCLA fans. Most believe them to be like Bigfoot and UFO's, only seen by people in trailer parks.

:laugh3:...We do exist!!!

For the Record:

It's NAVY first, Clippers 2nd.

UCLA is actually 4th.

But, I couldn't find the Lady Vols.

I don't in any way think that it should be a bannable offense. You are free to like whoever you want IMO.

Some where commenting about your current team choices, I just wanted to point out that liking UCLA was not what you were "banned" for.

Haberstroh actually came up with a decent looking Heat roster, using realistic cap room scenarios (meaning not very much).

I agree that the Heat should target cheap young guys over old veteran guys at the end of their career.

Anderson is looking for more than 1.5, and there is no reason not to bring Beasley back.
I read the supposed James complaint, but never some anything to support it.

Ah, Okay.

I'm pretty sure that was a joke.

In this Market, both of my teams are the JR. Franchise.

This is Laker, Trojan, Dodger Country.

* yaks repeatedly*

UCLA * football* and the Clippers are seen as a novelty, or....the little Brothers.

That was just friendly ribbing.

That roster isn't winning any rings.

Howdy, Fellow Clippers fan.

Do you think we will be able to keep Coll

I pray Doc brings in a SF.

I'm not sure how I feel about that player being Paul Pierce.

Maybe he can have a ressurection?

I dont like that roster. That still has Bosh and Birdman as our only Centers.. We need a better Center. Bosh just doesnt cut it, he needs to go back to the 4. and i honestly wouldnt be surprised if that is one of the things he mentioned to Riley in regards to resigning with Miami.

Another theory...

Maybe LeBron isn't as set on coming back to Miami as it appears.
Maybe he learned from his last free agency adventure that if it looks like he's seriously considering leaving... that makes it very difficult for his current team to attract other free agents.

LeBron is giving Pat Riley his best possible shot at attracting free agents by making it appear that he's all but set on coming back to Miami. Riley's best pitch to free agents is " you get to play with #6", and LeBron is allowing him to use that weapon by not giving any hint that he's leaving.

Just a random thought.

Are there any Magic fans on this site?

Can someone please tell me what that team is thinking?

You cut Jameer and then sign Ben Gordon for 2yrs/9 mil?

It should not matter what team somebody roots for, what matters is whether or not they are objective in their analysis.

For example, I am a Wizards fan, but I am more critical of their moves than I am anybody else. If people are spewing irrational hate, then feel free to take their opinions with a grain of salt, but many posters on here have proven the ability to be objective.

Just because my team has sucked for the last 30 + years does not mean that I don't know what a contender looks like. In fact, fans of teams that end up in the lottery year in a year out may actually be in the best position to offer unbiased opinions.

That's the general approach that I'm taking. Should've chose my words differently.

Haberstorh provides some pretty good arguments backing up his reasoning for that roster.

The thing is, the Heat have been horrible offensively over the last few seasons when a traditional big man was on the court. It helped them defensively, but their offense was worse than pathetic with those lineups. The heat have been at their best with a stretch big man in the lineup (like with Lewis in the postseason). This was the reasoning for going with Frye and Tolliver.

The Heat don't really need big names, they need young shooters (CJ Miles).

If you want to totally change the way the Heat have played over the last 4 years.... then maybe you find a traditional big or a floor general pg. But I agree with the article that it isn't necessary. Keep doing what has worked well, just find some younger talent, and some reliable shooters.

HOLD UP.....

The Cavs are going to offer Hayward MAX money???????

THIS is why Lebron is NEVER PLAYING IN CLEVELAND. If these fools actually offer Hayward that contract, WHAT position is he going to play? The sheer stupidity of such an offer boggles the mind.....

Well, they say Wiggins is a SG. So, Hayward would play the 3.

The Jazz are gonna match if he accepts.

Brian Windhorst: Cavs believed to be preparing a max offer sheet for restricted free agent Gordon Hayward, sources said. Yahoo reported he is visiting today.

:agree:

They lucked up and had Rodney Hood fall to them at #23.

Instant, cheap replacement.

But, they should still try to get a pick out of it, by doing a sign and trade.
