Hell of a pitching duel tonight. If only the TCU douchebag fans will stop making those annoying fucking noises, this game would be even better.

I couldn't hang for 15 inning last night. Great game though. Texas teams will most likely be eliminated after tonight.

I'll take the opposite as a bet!

TCU has an elimination game on the 19th. So, it would be a winner for me.

And to think they have a Home Run Derby there every year! Surprisingly though, last years participants hit a total of 61 home runs. Bet you wouldn't have guessed that! The wind must have been blowing out that day.

With our luck with the weather here in Nebraska lately, there will probably be a 30 mph wind blowing in from left field for the derby.

Yes the new baseball gets introduced next year.

And don't get it mixed up, this isn't Omaha's fault. This is the NCAA's fault. The NCAA basically tells Omaha to jump and Omaha asks "how high?". Last thing Omaha wanted to do was lose it's crown jewel so they built the new stadium per the NCAA's demands

Well, Some people were saying that Ameritrade really needs to add some character to the venue as well. I do not disagree.

Also, isn't Ameritrade the exact dimensions as Rosenblatt?

Yes, the bases are 90 feet apart, just like they were at Rosenblatt...:laugh3:

TD Ameritrade:
Left Field Line – 335 ft (102 m)
Left Center – 375 ft (114 m)
Center Field – 408 ft (124 m)
Right Center – 375 ft (114 m)
Right Field Line -335 ft

Johnny Rosenblatt:
Left Field - 335 feet (102 m)
Left-Center - 375 feet (114 m)
Center Field - 408 feet (124 m)
Right-Center - 375 feet (114 m)
Right Field - 335 feet (102 m)

That's according to Wikipedia so it is fact.

when does the current contract expire?
23 years?
I was close, it runs through 2035.

If I remember correctly the field orientation has changed. The line from home base to CF is SE for TD. For the old stadium, it's NE. Prevailing winds from the south to the north. I looked at the maps on Bing.

RedAlert can probably be more precise.

The Home Run Derby isn't really accurate. Sluggers hitting 'really easy' balls, not the same as game speeds.
