Alright TJ, your job is to go to the Hokie board and find out what the problem is.
I thought ben wa was a wrassler or something

The Cavaliers have allowed two earned runs in 33 innings in winning their three CWS games for an 0.55 ERA. The CWS record for lowest ERA in a series, in a minimum four games, is 0.60 by California in 1957.
Where's all the VT fans? Shouldn't they be in here pulling for UVA?On a serious note, are there any Vandy fans on the board at all?

You won't see any VT fans here. That is by far the largest bandwagon group in all of college sports. They made a run to the CWS in softball about a decade ago, it was the greatest sport on earth then. Now, their softball team barely gets any attendance. Same thing with soccer, their coach at the time paid a bunch of foreign players to come make a run at a NC, they made it to the final four, it again was the greatest sport on earth. Same as softball, you can't pay anyone to go sit through a VT soccer game. VT is a football school. I blame that on their previous AD and to an extent, Frank Beamer. The school and fans have made him out to be some sort of iconic figure.
OK who knows if either of these two teams have ever won a CWS, or better yet, ever made the finals...and no I don't feel like looking it up, figured somebody would just know this kind of trivia.

A Decade of Dominance....don't be a hater.
Neither Vanderbilt or Virginia have previously made it to the Championship game.
This is Vanderbilt's 2nd ever trip to Omaha (2011/2014) - In 2011 they went (2-2).
This is Virginia's 3rd ever trip to Omaha (2009/2011/2014) - In 2009 they went (1-2). In 2011 they went (2-2)
There's only been one ACC team to ever win the CWS and that was Wake Forest in 1955. The ACC's been well represented, but unlucky for sure.
Current ACC teams that have been to the CWS

Duke (3) - 1952, 1953, 1961

Pittsburgh, Va Tech, and Maryland have never been to the CWS.
I think UNC made the final 4 straight years, 06-09, and still couldn't get the job done.
Oh well, my team made it much further than I thought it would. I'll be back next season.
It's a W CWS Final for the double V. I'm backing Virginia to win it.
So you're a UT sports fan and not an overall sports fan?
BTW: Not only is it double V, it's also double C.
