3/14 recap (Part 1- The major tournaments)

Minnesota heard talk about them being a bubble team and promptly pooped the bed.
Sad, but true; Michigan State got them yesterday. Also in the Big 10 we saw Indiana win, Wisconsin win, and Ohio State officially eliminate Iowa from the NCAA tournament picture.
Oh, and here's what else happened yesterday:

ACC Quarterfinals:
North Carolina over Florida State 92-67
NC State upsets Duke 74-69
Virginia over Boston College 66-60 in OT (Virginia survives a heartstopper!)
Pittsburgh over Wake Forest 81-69 (BIG win for the Panthers- Wait. Could this mean both Pitt AND Wake will miss the NCAA's?)

Big 12 Quarterfinals:
Houston over TCU 60-45
Iowa State over Kansas State 76-57
Baylor over Cincinnati 68-56 (Someone on this thread mentioned that Cincinnati should have a better chance of making the NCAA's than Kansas State does. Hmmm...)
Texas Tech over BYU 81-67

Big East Quarterfinals:
UConn over Xavier 87-60
St. John's over Seton Hall 91-72
Providence upsets Creighton 78-73 (The Friars shock the Bluejays...)
Marquette over Villanova 71-65 in OT (...while the law of averages got to Villanova. What a great day for Providence!)

Mountain West Quarterfinals:
Utah State over Fresno State 87-75 in OT
San Diego State over UNLV 85-78 in OT
Colorado State over Nevada 85-78 (HUGE win for the Rams!)
New Mexico over Boise State 76-66 (Hmm... Colorado State vs. New Mexico in the semifinals...)

PAC-12 Quarterfinals:
Arizona over USC 70-49
Oregon over UCLA 68-66
Washington State over Stanford 79-62
Colorado over Utah 72-58 (Colorado is still alive... and now Utah is out of the picture.)

SEC 2nd Round:
Mississippi State over LSU 70-60
South Carolina over Arkansas 80-66
Texas A&M over Ole Miss 80-71
Florida over Georgia 85-80

Blind resumes. Without looking at the name and logo. It removes all narratives and bias.

CBS recently did one and all of them mistakenly had Cincinnati clearly in :pound:. What a sham.

Tennessee laid an egg against Miss St in the SEC quarterfinals. Seems like Tennessee collapses in March every year
