Patriots vs. Seahawks

Forget past controversies. Only talk about what is going to happen 6 days from now. What do you expect to happen in the game? Who will win? Which defense is better? Will Sherman intercept Brady? Will Lynch get into BEAST MODE?

I have Pats winning 27-21 with Seattle being down 2 scores to rally in 4th and lose by 6. Seattle is definitely the better D ( #1 last 3 years in scoring against). Lynch stays into beast mode and has 2 runs over 20 yards. Sherman doesnt intercept Brady while Revis gets 1 pick and then they go up to Sherman after game and say, You Mad Bro?. Be nice to see Revis get a ring. In fact only Brady and Wilfork have SB's rings on Pats while most of Seattle have

The Patriots should win this game. The Packers should have beaten Seattle last week but their conservative game plan backfired. The Patriots will be much more aggressive on offense.

Why would we talk about the Super Bowl?

Lets hear more about Roger Goodell's "As the NFL Turns"

I think both Sherman and Revis gets, at least, 1 interception. I think Lynch will have more than two 20+ runs, but maybe 1 or 2 will be very costly for New England. I think Wilson will be very affective being mobile, where Gronk will be very affective vs. Seahawks.

I will give the Patriots 27-17 win.

I think its funny how one bad outing by Seattle in which they ultimately rallied and won has people thinking they wont win or shouldn't be there or dont deserve..... THey fail to give credit to the D who was put in crap situations all game, and only gave up ONE TD to aaron rodgers.....but yes. SEattle doesn't deserve to be here

But honestly, with this team I wouldn't want it any other way. Nobody thought they'd win last year either!

The Seahawks staggered through the playoffs and are about to get their butts kicked by the Patriots.

They beat Carolina by 20? What was your expectation of them? They can't Superbowl Denver every opponent. Also the D vs gb not gonna give that any credit?

Im interested in what NE will do vs Seattles run game. Will they go cover zero and stack the box. If so I guarentee you Seattle will go after browner, He is a beast at the line, but he's slower then all our wr's.

It's not like New England had smooth sailing up until this point. I seem to recall they were down 14 TWICE to Baltimore.

Browner scares me because like you said his speed and when he gets beat, he usually holds or PI.

When he was in Seattle he would do great against the taller more possession type reciever, but a small speed reciever would wreck his day

And if you islandize Revis, look for Wilson to scramble to his side. Its much easier for him if the D is playing man.

Seattle wins. I mean I was impressed by Seattles defense in that game. Despite 5 turnovers GB only scored 1 TD, that's pretty impressive IMO. Seattle wins 24-14

My biggest fear for the game on Seattle D is getting pressure on brady. ARodgers had all day on some of his throws. Manly because Seattle lost a lot of depth during the off-season and than during the season as Hill was lost for the year.

Than my second is the middle of the field. TE and short passes in the middle to keep drives alive where Seattle D will be on the field for 6-8 min drives.

For Seattle O, they are going to need Willison TE to have a big game. To me he is the x-factor for Seattle O. That and can the line give Wilson more than 2 secs? :noidea:

Agree with you on Wilson. Im willing to accept Revis will shut down most of his end of the field. We need to attack browner deep, either convert or get the DPI which all seattle fans remember!, Then use a little bit of NE's medicine against them. Send Willson down the seem ala gronk.

But honestly. We should be able to pound the rock, just need to be effecient in the passing game, convert the short third down plays and let our running game do work.

Seattle wins big. They held the pack even while committing all those turnovers, and the pats don't have the talent at the skill positions to even challenge the LOB. Wilson might be average, but he's not playing two horrible games in a row

You might see NE play some single high S...but doubtful they go cover zero like GB did in OT...lol. I think NE is bringing the best DEF they've had in sometime to this SB.

I don't expect SEA to go north of 20...and I don't expect NE to much over 20 either...I would take the under in this game.
