No matter who we get in the front office, they wouldn't know how to rebuild if you gave them a set of LEGOs.
Probably have to start with this... and even that's a stretch.

If the key to winning is having the best young talent, then the Blue Jays will win the next 5 World Series starting in 2022. They have some of the best and we aren't talking AA and A guys. We are talking Rookies up and playing well already.

Ya I grew up watching them dominate the division on TBS/TNT back in late 70's and 80's. They do it right.
The Bobby Cox era was unreal too. Now sadly the Yankees have a strong farm system with an already talented team. I wish the FO could hire some of those guys to run the daily operations.
Mariners would never hire any of those guys. If you did that, you would have to actually try and win and winning gets expensive and creates expectations...
Maybe the FO lowers expectations to get fans pumped for Seahawks, Huskies and soon to be the NHL expansion team which will probably win the Cup before the M's win the WS.
Never thought of it but maybe they own stock in the other Seattle teams they make look better.
That's probably true but I don't want their stench walking into those stadiums. We already have the pink nightmare stadium with a pile of shit in the middle of it.
I believe Jerry was with Angels when they traded Segura to Brewers.
July 27, 2012: Traded by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim with Johnny Hellweg and Ariel Pena to the Milwaukee Brewers for Zack Greinke.
Very true. I was scared seeing Servais at Seahawks practice so owning parts of other local teams would be end of Seattle sports.
I understand what you are saying because you are a real fan, but like when they started the competitive balance compensation a while back the Marlins made more money than the Yankees and were the worst team in the sport by a long shot. Sad, but that is the game we love. Like I have posted in the past, Howie said it best when he said making the playoffs is not profitable (the playoffs themselves).
Probably have to start with this... and even that's a stretch.
