i listened to a couple of interviews this Eggers guy did yesterday. he said he didn't think NU had any more talent than OSU. but then he went more into detail and specifically said the lack of depth at LB, the QB isn't a pro-style and no one behind Tommy looks worth a darn, and then mentioned WR, but did say a lot of guys were hurt.

i can get behind all of those. i mean WR, we are probably better than OSU, but our main guys were out when he was watching. the other two, i'd believe just because at LB we are short people and at QB they weren't recruited to sling the ball around the way Riley wants.

Bo Pleeny and crew were turrible at recruiting and evaluating talent.

Tito and the scrapbook boys? Flatfooted defenders? C'mon.

Riley is no better by offering schollies to the same type of "best of the rest" 3rd tier players who's choice is between Nebraska or mid-majors.

Of course they're all 'diamonds in the rough' and only Nebraska coaches and mid-majors have the inate ability to see it.

He basically named an Oregon State 14 year all-star team and compared it to what he saw in one Nebraska practice.

He said the WR group "isn't even close" to what OSU has and wouldn't elaborate.

He's a fucking hack and on top of him having no clue how to evaluate talent, he had absolutely no basis for his claims.

People from Nebraska share a bond. You could be on a road trip and if you see someone sporting Nebraska plates, you might have a ten minute conversation. This kind of shit freaks people out. They just don't understand.

Being a Husker fan/from Nebraska just might be the greatest thing in the world.
