It was but it was touched by his own blocker, not a Packers guy, so he could still make the handoff. If a Packers guy touched him he would’ve been down and they wouldn’t have gotten it.
Right the Packers fan in me just got excited by 4 replays of his knee touching the turf lol

How can a “good” coach be so stupid?

Bates drills it and the Lions win it!!!! What a terrific game, Lions just have such a great, balanced offense that they are very hard to stop. Packers played a good game but it just wasn’t enough.

The Packers are going to be a tough out in the playoffs. They basically shut the run game down. Hopefully the Lions will get a couple of guys back on D by then.
The Packers are the 3rd best team in the NFC IMO. They are pretty complete all around. They will definitely be a tough out in the playoffs. And yeah they limited the Lions run game well - Montgomery/Gibbs combined for only 94 yards rushing. Goff just played a strong enough game that the Lions were able to win with their passing attack. The Lions O is the best in the NFL I think.

I gotta say, watching these NFL refs get hurt never fails to amuse me.

The miniscule amount of contact or physical activity it takes top knock these idiot fat fucks out of the game is truly amazing.

Maybe they shouldn't be out there if getting bumped once means we gotta stop the game for five minutes to make sure they ain't dead.

Not only are these dudes dumb, they're also out of shape. Awesome.

No need for good in quotes. He is a very good coach because they way players go all in for him. Value of his positives far outweigh his poor choices.

Kind of like Reid with his clock management for years. I hope Campbell eventually overcomes his shortcoming just like Reid.

What a stupid take. You do realize they run downfield with receivers and corners right? As they have their eyes out for penalties they can't see where all the players are, Yet they do an amazing job of avoiding them as the play is going on and players are running in all directions.

As for the game boy it sure did live up to the hype, one of the best games I've seen all year. I have no idea how the Lions got pressure from their front with all of those injuries, that was very surprising. I'm still unsure about Love. He kind of has that Cousins vibe of looking great for stretches and then not good at all for a stretch. Sure he missed a TD on the play before their late field goal, but he had already committed to running by then and he passed a test IMO last night. Goff passed a test too by driving them down for the win. The coach was crazy for going for that 4th down but it sure was entertaining.

Just wow. Jarred Goff trips over Dan Campbells balls and Monty gets the first down.

This is why this coach of the year will get them to the superbowl, the going for it on their own 30 might be why they dont win it.

I agree. No disrespect to the Vikings but I think it will be the Lions, Eagles or Pack out of the NFC. I was very impressed with their run D. I kept looking for that 2nd level burst we often get from Montgomery or Gibbs.. but the initial 2-3 yards was it most of the time. Their pass coverage was also good for the most part.. Goff is just a surgeon when he has time.

The NFC North is going to be ridiculous next year after Caleb Williams has a year under his belt.

The biggest issue I had with that was the play call. As soon as it was pitched to Gibbs deep it was over. The Pack pursues too well and they'd been pretty much stuffing the run game all night.

I had to wait until the game was televised on the NFL channel, as I'm not a subscriber to Prime. But I have to say it was worth staying away from all sports-related media until I could watch the game as if it were on live. Two incredibly talented teams battling it out until the final seconds. I tell ya, that Campbell's got balls the size of watermelons. Doesn't always work for him including earlier in the game. But that clock clinching play to go for it on 4th down accomplished the objective. What a game!!!
