Anyone else think Jamal Adams is a bit overrated?
Do you mean as a whole body of work in his career or just based on last year?Anyone else think Jamal Adams is a bit overrated?
What I mean is the FO doing it with out talking to Russ about the situation.Yea I’m sure Russ would be very pissed to see all that money become guaranteed
Per the article I linked a little earlier Russ is open to a restructure if it means getting extensions for Brown and AdamsWhat I mean is the FO doing it with out talking to Russ about the situation.
Tough to grade him. He's a very good player in a hybrid S/LB role but he's not the best S or the best LB. There are things the Seahawks can gameplan to do with him and there are things the opponents can scheme to do against him. Overthecap has the highest paid S averaging about $15M per year. I wouldn't want to be paying him 125% of that. I posted on a Seahawks board that he was a $13M player with a $19M price tag. It wasn't a popular point of view.Anyone else think Jamal Adams is a bit overrated?
I heard they are 2 mil apart from each other and now I’m mad about itI heard that they made another offer to Adams
I am on the Seahawks side on this one.
Me too. These players need to start getting called on their demands and teams need to start enforcing what they can and if the players don't like it they can go sit at home and not get paid. You want $17.5M per year for 4 years or you want $10M, $14M and $16M for the next 3 and all one year deals so if you get injured or start to stink your payments end? Also, this whole idea that the next guy up will get the biggest contract is ridiculousI am on the Seahawks side on this one.
They're close enough that a deal will likely still get done a some point and it'll be one of those meet in the middle kind of things. We've seen the "done negotiating" and "final offer" a million times and it's usually a signal to the other side that it's time to compromise.
This is true. But that's what happens when you trade two 1st round picks for a guy. You give him a ton of leverage, his camp knows it, and he's going to use it.
It worked out for the Seahawks when they played hardball for Clowney, i guess we will find out how this works out.
Has anybody heard of the numbers the Hawks have offered.
Anyone else think Jamal Adams is a bit overrated?
So why post in a thread if you don't care? Never understood why posters feel the need to let the rest of know they don't care, you think we care if you care?
Seriously! How has this gotten to 37 pages? How and why is this?!
