seems like pittsburgh players are intentionally trying to make lemieux look bad. that kunitz hit was as bad as they come

i think they both get 2.. kunitz's was a nasty shot to the head, there's no defending it

and that's the 2nd time downie has tried to end someone's career behind the net.. the hit against mccammond was 100% identical and he got 20 for that, so i guess we'll see

No idea what Kunitz was thinking. Not like him AT ALL to do that crap. He's a hard hitter, but not a cheap shotter. Kunitz I think will get 2, based on the other incidents and the fact that he has no real history with this. Downey may get one...but that's it. He does have a history, and that's the only thing working against him.

The crosscheck on Varlamov was bad, but the other two were just borderline, in my opinion. And as Pix pointed out, he was a Duck for the hit on Cheechoo, which, as we all know, means he had no choice but to play dirty.

Downie's was first I'm 99% sure. I still think 2 is the number. 2 is like 4 regular season games, which is just about what he'd get. 4-5 regular season.

seriously.. some of the guys in the game, not just pens who are getting a lot of bad press lately, just have no respect for each other.. you can sell out for a hit and try to break bones (i'll probably appreciate that hit), but going straight for the head is just classless

bones heal, brains dont.
