Wild night in the Nhl. Already 44 goals scored by my count. Of course we beat Montreal and looked like an entirely different team from what we've seen this whole month. I might have to actually pick up Michkov again in fantasy now. Can't believe he hit the post with a wide open net and a chance at a hat trick.

Didn't shock me I bet they go after someone who can teach the younger players they bring on board. More patience. Torts is a solid coach but he doesn't have patience anymore....although he did surprise me lasting this long.

74 goals scored in just 10 games tonight. 11 of the 20 teams scored at least 4 goals. We put up 6 on Montreal, along with Seattle over Edmonton. Buffalo scored 7 on Shitsburgh. Tampa hung 8 on Utah.

These next two games against Buffalo and Nashville should be intriguing. I'm assuming now that we will go all out and finish 9th or 10th in the draft lottery instead of 3rd or 4th...Lol These games with the Sabres and Preds will go a long way toward deciding that.

I gotta give our captain Sean Couturier props because nobody else will. He has 8 points and 19 shots in his last 5 games, has played in 71 games this season and is one of only four plus players on the team. Seeler is the only other active plus player. Not having Risto, Hathaway and Laughton is probably a big reason why we're giving up so many goals lately.

Anyway, say what you want about this dude, but he is leading by example and absolutely doing work right now. If we're being real, he should have much higher numbers this season, but he's been snakebitten for awhile and our power play is complete trash, as we all know.

Not a lot of details out there, but seems like it was quite an altercation, and it was the last straw for Torts and put York on the bench for the whole game last night. Not a lot of details out there, but seems like it was quite an altercation, and it was the last straw for Torts and put York on the bench for the whole game last night. But, explains why they'd fire the coach with 9 games left instead of just letting him command the tank the rest of the way.

York has been dressed and riding the bench now for the vast majority of the last two games. What an awkward situation!! When does it end!? Lol They must've said some nasty shit to each other, but if Torts is gone, why is York still on the bench?

Theoretically, both teams should be playing to win today, considering the Sabres have won 3 straight and we still have the boom from firing Torts. That said, the loser of this game temporarily secures the 4th spot in the draft lottery. Game on in 3 hours, but I see it's on Nhl Network, which I think means I can't fucking watch it.

Well, I'm watching the game and where the fuck has this been for the last month+ of the season!?!

5 different Flyers have scored. Michkov, Foerster and Tippett look absolutely electric. Tippett finally lets loose a rocket on the power play, his first ppg of the season!!

It's just amazing to me how cold this team was for so long and how much talent they can suddenly put on display. Wtf is going on here!?!

7-4 win. 6 different goal scorers, 6 players with multiple points and 11 players with a point. 2 power play goals from a power play that is the 3rd worst in the entire Nhl.
