Most likely closer to the record after tonight's game.
With all due respect, fucking OV scores more easy goals than anyone I've ever seen, by a lot. He leads the Nhl in empty-netters with 65 all-time and on his goal tonight, he hit a wide open cage with a shot going about 20 mph. He sits in the same spot on the power play and barely ever moves, often for the entire two minutes. If the puck ever gets to him, he's often wide open with a great chance to score via a one-timer.

Another expected loss to the Caps. It's nice to see a response, a goal from Poehling and another from Couturier, but we really need Konecny to get back on track. While it's annoying to give up another goal to OV and have them clinch a playoff spot against us, there's not much we can do about it right now. I'm rather amazed that they're leading the Nhl in points with 39 year old OV. Logan Thompson is 30-4-5 in net. Are you kidding me!?! Lol

Anaheim pulls further ahead of us in the standings. Otherwise, we remain 5th in the draft lottery, with all of the other bad teams also losing. only 12 games left in the season. The ones against teams like Chicago, Nashville, Buffalo, New York and Columbus should be interesting because those teams are all losing too. Someone has to win those games...Lol Do we win a few of those or do we slide to 3rd or 4th in the draft lottery?
