I'm guessing Kolosov goes back to the KHL, they send Fedotov down to the AHL, and sign a tandem level goalie in free agency to play with Ersson next year. Allen, Georgiev, Vanecek, Andersen, Forsberg, Samsonov, Lyon all free agents and could make sense on a 1 year deal. Won't send a very good message to the "culture" to not do something about the goaltending this summer. But I wouldn't do anything dramatic. Zavragin is a really solid G prospect right now and his timeline might work out for the Flyers. Plus goalies are voodoo. I wouldn't put too many resources to it until they have a good team to play behind. Blackwood/Wedgewood were journeymen goalies and all of a sudden they're dominant (.918/.917) with Colorado.

Wouldn't be surprised if they use one of their 7 picks in the first 2 rounds this summer on a goalie though. Sounds like there are quite a few good ones starting in the back half of the first round. Not totally opposed to that given the 7 picks, but wouldn't use one of the 1sts on one.

I need to see Zaravgin play in a different league other than the KHL. As we all know Fedatov and Kolosov were stars in that league too.

We are two seasons away from having a lot of money come off the books, so it was always 2027 for me to start contending.
Two season away from Zavragin potentially coming over.

Michkov becomes the first Flyer since Renberg to put up 50 points in their rookie seasons.

Zavargin i have to see play in a real league to see if he is good or just another Kolosov.

Whoever the next coach is will be fired in three to 4 years just like the last 5 coaches. Its what we do. Have shitty players and fire the coach every few years.

The league made it impossible for franchises like the Flyers (who they actively steal top picks from) to have success.

So, look for him to play in the last 5 games of our season.

We just gave up 7 goals to the 2nd worst team in the Nhl. Tank mode is in full swing. And so, I fully expect to finish with the 3rd worst record in the league. Buffalo and Nashville are going to pass us when we lose in regulation to both of them. That leaves us behind only San Jose and Chicago in the draft lottery and they cannot be caught.

That's what I thought, I was just hoping to see him get a few more games before the seasons ended.

Looks like they used their last post-deadline recall on Kolosov today. People on twitter seem to think Luchanko/Ciernak are Phantoms-bound to help with their playoff race/run. I'm totally good with that. Rather they play meaningful pro hockey than ride out whatever the Flyers are riding out. They can play in the AHL as long as their CHL seasons are over, which they are. Bonk/Barkey would be able to suit up as well, but London is a powerhouse so they'll probably make a deep run and call it a summer afterwards.

Looks like the Phantoms in 5th in the Atlantic and the top 6 make the playoffs? They're 8pts clear of 7th with only 9 games to go, so I'd say they'll make the playoffs.

What a weird playoff format the AHL uses though? Top 7 from the Pacific, top 6 from the Atlantic, top 5 from the North and Central. 11 teams from the East and 12 teams from the West make the playoffs? Weird.
