Better yet - a Philly cheese steak !
I think this result tonight gives you some definite bragging rights. A 6-1 barrage in Philly. The line of Cates, Brink and Foerster combined for 10 points. Risto opened the scoring and Michkov chipped in a couple assists. Complete dominance, start to finish, really.

For me, this doesn't necessarily bolster our playoff chances, but it does help seal the fate of our hated rivals, which is a beautiful thing.

Wish they saved some for Thursday.

Ducks are in a row. Now just one more big effort.

You would definitely expect the Pens to respond on Thursday if they have anything left at all, so we shall see. They have lost 4 straight now (2 of those to us) and been outscored 22-9 in the process.

After that, for us, the road gets extremely difficult against Nhl-leading Winnipeg twice and I see no reason to attempt to win anymore games...Lol

I fully expect to sell at the deadline (March 7th), and even if we don't, there are just too many damn teams to leapfrog in order to make the playoffs. We sure as hell don't want teams like the Pens, Isles or Rags picking ahead of us in this upcoming draft either.

With that ass-whippin of Pissburgh, we get back to .500 with a 3-game winning streak and in 5th place in the Metro Division. Pissburgh is in the cellar and how sweet it is to look down on those chumps!

Ok. My plan is set. I can get grub hub to deliver a “Jersey Mikes” Cheese steak. Thought the “Jersey Mikes” was a good touch. Now the flyers just need to win at least the second game.

Seeing if I can convince his wife to capture the moment.

Life’s simple pleasures.
This is great!!! :pound::pound::pound:

If we can beat them again you should see if one of the local pizza joints could make a pizza in the shape of the Flyer emblem and have that delivered.

Cates ,Brink and Foerster broke out of their slump in a big way.

I wish we could bottle that energy and have it on game to game basis.

Rasmus Ristolainen staying? Flyers’ trade target not drawing high interest

By Kevin Kurz
57m ago

The needle, at the moment, is inching back toward Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen remaining with the team past next Friday’s trade deadline.
Despite Ristolainen being high on various trade boards — including ours — the Flyers haven’t received many calls on the 30-year-old blueliner with two seasons left on his contract after this one at a $5.1 million AAV, according to a team source.
That can quickly change this time of year, of course, particularly if there’s a team or teams that swing and miss on other targets. But, at least for now, Ristolainen is less likely to be dealt than previously thought.
And, really, that shouldn’t be all that astonishing. General manager Daniel Briere said in his most recent media availability that Ristolainen was “not a rental.” That’s essentially code for, they’re not going to deal him if the asking price isn’t met. It seems likely the Flyers would prefer a first-round pick or a top prospect in exchange for Ristolainen.
