Yep, we are still at least 4-5 years out. Zamula should never be a starter on this squad. Dude is slow as molasses, not that the rest of our defense is much better. Zero physicality!

Looks like we need more than just a few spots filled on this team. We need either a whole revamped defense or better veteran leadership. Ristolinan and Zamula are 2 of the biggest soft batch pussys I've seen in a long time. No opposing forward is scared or respectful of our defense. There is zero heart on display game in and game out. We need a solid vet and a lot of Seelers.

That's horrible, obviously, but he's also only 22 years old and defensemen take longer to develop. If you give up on him right now, you might regret it in a few seasons. It's a tough call and a hard pill to swallow at the moment, but we have to be patient with some of these youngsters, Michkov absolutely included. I don't see anyone shitting on him and he has points in only 1 of his last 10 games with a -13 over that stretch too. Ouch.
