And the Rangers are now behind. No offense after the first.
I thought me might be pinch running. Yeah I wanted Zeke to hitI just dont really like the call to PH Smith there.....has no power and has been terrible with the bat basically all season
Don’t adjust our pitching style to a team who would rather walk then swing the bat. The nibble at the edge of the zone shit won’t work on them. they drew 7 walks Tonight. They always walk a lot of times against us. Doesn’t matter what pitching staff or what year it is. The walkland A’s are going to walk if you don’t pound the zone. its like losing by way of Chinese water torture and it’s very frustrating to watch. How do we always lose to the A's
Not pulling Gray sooner cost us. He simply had nothing and after the first inning the offense vanished. doesn’t seem to matter who our manager or pitching coach is either. I hate playing walkland more than any other team.
We may not have had much of a choice depending on the DeGrom situation. Not pulling Gray sooner cost us. He simply had nothing and after the first inning the offense vanished. Simple as that.
That was my biggest disappointment during the offseason as you probably already know. The loss last night could very well be the first win column casualty from the decision to keep your starting pitching depth in your bullpen.
If Dunning does start in place of deGrom and can only go 4 or 5 innings max, then that could lead to another win column casualty.
It all goes back to not signing enough relief pitchers in the offseason. It is all interrelated.
