Mariota Heisman campaign looking good. Really needs the big game on a National Stage in 6 days.

Passing

76-134 57% completion pct 1358 yards

14 TD 0 INTs

Rushing

338 yards 7 TDs 12 yards a carry.

He is pacing 55 TDs. Not counting a potential CCG

He also has not played past the 5 minute mark in the 3rd quarter in any game.

:L projecting out season stats based entirely on what they have done against their creampuff schedule.

He is NOT going to do the same stats against UW, Stanford, UCLA, or even Oregon State most likely. Hell even Utah has been improved on defense this year and @ Arizona could be worse than the FCS teams you played early.

I mean Oregon has one of the worst schedules in FBS and haven't played anyone in the top 40 yet have they?

I'm sure I didn't win this week. Think I went 4-1 and picked UW to cover, but also picked them to win by points so I'm out on the tiebreaker. Doubt anyone got all 5 right this week. I know Mamba lost the first game so he wasn't perfect.

Yes, that's what I'm saying.

In that scenario y'all would be coming off a huge win at home vs the Huskies and will be feeling pretty good about your chances at 5-2 3-1 but to take that next step, you would need to go up to Washington St and win. You can't come back from Pullman 5-3 3-2 with zero wins on the road.

But guess what?

Even if you do get by the Dubbs at home, if you're going anywhere this year ya gotta win on the road and the Cougs this year are no joke!

The PAC is for real!

Why the worry over ASU, Mike? If we lose to Washington (and we will if they play like they did last night) and both games on the road, not likely, that'll give us four losses. You're about to go against Washington, Stanford and Oregon. Doesn't matter where you play them, that will give you three losses. You must believe your appearance in the CCG the last two years was due to superior play? So the winner in the South will have more than one loss for sure. So where do you need to improve? What that does mean is if we do improve at all, we'll be playing you for the South title and the CCG. And if we don't improve, anyone can get lucky. Just look at your comeback in Lincoln after going down 21. ASU leaves the boasting to the Ducks and Dawgs and I guess now we'll hear it from top ten (for now) UCLA. But somebody, everybody maybe, has to fall. Notre Dame was the best team we've played this year, likely better than anyone we've yet to play and they were ready. Maybe they exploited some of our weaknesses that others won't or can't. Out first goal was to win at least three of our first five. We did that. Now we're after the South title. If we don't make it, we still appreciate your concern and advice. If we do, we'll owe you one. So your concern about us might be misplaced.

Stanford was the best team we played by far. Notre Dame has no running game and a scrub at qb, im sorry Notre Dames defense didn't impress me at all until the 2nd half, we should of been able to rack up enough points in the first half to hold on in the 2nd half, there defense finally showed up, but that was the 2nd worse offense we have faced all year next to Sac State. That was a game we should of won and didn't because our weak ass secondary and inability to rush the passer.

Wiz, those are numbers put up in 35 minutes of football.

If he plays 60 vs the bigger teams the numbers will be similar. Just ask the 8 teams Oregon beat in conference last year how he fared as a Freshman. PAC player of the year at that.

Wait, he has only played in the 4th quarter in 3 of his college games. That is ridiculous man.

Who is?

Mariota has zero Turnovers.

His numbers are better than all the other contenders.

Johnny Football has 4 picks.

Would you rather your QB have a 65% with 4 picks, or 57% with zero picks?

I would rather have Boyd or Winston. :laugh3: 57% is ass and look at the teams hes playing? he can just throw it short to his speedy wrs and out run the slow ass defenses you guys are playing. It makes me mad schedule someone good. You guys are scared of losing to another SEC team.
